The Cedar Wood Log-Style Swing Set from Cedarwood Furniture delivers all these benefits and more. This 71-inch-wide swing has a contoured seat for extra comfort. Galvanized hardware, mortise-and-tenon joinery and natural cedar oils mean it will stand up to years of use and weather. Its American manufacturer backs it with a three-year warranty. This Swing carries a weight limit recommendation of 600 pounds.
Please note that this swing set is made up of a swing and A-Frame. The boxes will say CF75 and CF500. Do not be confused by these numbers.

It's normal for all cedar log furniture to endure the natural process of checking
as the wood "seasons".
 Checking
occurs as a wooden log releases moisture across or through the annual
growth rings. It does not affect the structural performance or integrity
of the wood. All logs which contain the heart of the tree will develop
lengthwise cracks or checks. The check never goes deeper than the heart. |

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, these swing sets don't have staining as an option. They are already built and packed up reach to ship. Some customers do stain them but that is something you'll need to do once you receive it. We recommend using a product like Behr or Cabot. Do not use a polyurethane but use a stain/sealer that is breathable.
The slats that make up the seat on the Log Style Yard Swing Set are not flat but have a curve to them. This makes the more comfortable because it follows the shape of your body.
Unfortunately, we do not have an image showing the contour but if you watch the video there is a great side shot that shows where the seat does contour to fit your seat.
