Its Adirondack tabletop features a 1/4" gap between surface slats to avoid surface puddling from rain and speeds drying. Each leg is braced with two triangle gussetts for support, stability and optimum strength. This convenient coffee table is a perfect companion to the matching luxury adirondack chairs. The fine detailed craftsmanship in this adirondack style furniture is heirloom quality and exhibited by: its curved oval tabletop design, careful lumber selection, sanding and rounding of all wood surfaces and "Old-World" joinery techniques for lasting sturdiness. Furthermore, polypropylene glides are hand screwed onto the bottoms of the legs to reduce friction, prevent chipping, elevates it above surface puddles and protects decks from being scratched.
